It can't get better than this!!!

What passion, what craze!!! It's just out of the world!!!
Everything appears to be on a standstill here in South Africa.
Just to give a background, SA won their last warm up game against Denmark last week.
There were thousands of people watching the game at a nearby mall where I happened to pass by and the moment Mphela scored that goal it was utter chaos all over! People were hugging, dancing throwing pop corns in the air as though it was the WC final.
Being witness to those amazing scenes last week, I wasn't surprised today to know that around 180,0000 people took to the streets of Jo'berg and an estimated 300,000 all across South Africa in a show of unity and solidarity towards the Bafana Bafana team. A bus ride was also arranged for the team to acknowledge the cheers and the support of the the people of South Africa.
Supporters gathered at various streets blowing vuvuzela's, dancing their heart out and waving the South African flag.
The sound of vuvuzela is deafening to say the least but it definetely brings a lot of thrill and excitement. It was a festive atmosphere all around and must say I haven't come across such a thing ever in my life. And probably never!
I am getting goose bumps while I write this!
Even the people sitting inside their vehicles didn't mind the traffic blokkage and were waving, coming out dancing and taking pics on their cell phones.
One of the guys, had a German flag on his car. Seeing the emotion and frenzy all around, got down from his car and put the German flag inside!! His gesture was thunderously applauded.
Surprisingly there was absolutely no holiganism, no bad behaviour from the crowd. Hope it stays this way.
I just can't wait for the kickoff on Friday.
